NDIS Code of Conduct

The NDIS Code of Conduct sets seven rules for everyone who delivers NDIS supports, whether registered or unregistered, and for each of their workers. It covers respect for participants’ rights, privacy, safe and competent support, honesty, raising concerns, and preventing violence, abuse, neglect and sexual misconduct. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission enforces it.

Honest invoicing is part of the Code

Element 4 includes not overcharging. Claim only for supports delivered, use the right support item number and time of day, stay within the price limits, and keep progress notes that match your invoices.

Complaints and enforcement

Anyone can complain to the NDIS Commission about a provider or worker. The Commission can investigate and take action such as warnings, banning orders that stop a person working in the NDIS, or civil penalties. Banning orders appear on the Commission’s public register.

Invoices you can stand behind. ShiftInvoice checks each line against the current NDIS price limits and time-of-day rules, and Pro links every invoice line to a logged shift with progress notes. A$15 a month.
